OREANDA-NEWS. November 05, 2009. As the Prime Minister Vladimir Filat has announced, the increase in tariffs for heat had never been the part of IMF’s conditions.

The prime minister said the International Monetary Fund only insisted that the tariffs in Moldova should correspond to their real cost and be established by the independent specialized agency. "This does not mean that they should automatically grow", - said Filat.

The Premier noted that responsibility for setting tariffs will be transferred to ANRE, which will be subordinated to the Parliament in order to strengthen its independence.
