OREANDA-NEWS. November 05, 2009. Gagauzia has received a suggestion to build roads in the autonomy according to “American technology” providing reduction of construction expenses by one half. This was announced by the head of Gagauzia Mikhail Formuzal to the members of the Executive Committee of ATO Gagauzia, noting that construction of roads on the "American technology" will cost twice cheaper than the method currently applied in Moldova and Gagauz autonomy.

The construction cost will make about 110 leis per 1 square meter. Mikhail Formuzal proposed to make experiment and to construct 200 meters of road on this new technology, in order to check the quality and durability of the area built. The expertise will be made by the expert commission –road workers and company “Sud - A - Kon.

The head of Gagauzia stressed the importance of this experiment, because the next year the Executive Committee shall determine the priority of the construction of water supply systems and paved roads.
