OREANDA-NEWS. November 03, 2009. The Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund (ADIF) finished attraction of  calendar payments from its 42 members for the third quarter of 2009.

The bank said that calendar payments in the amount of AZN 624,000, US1.157 million and 145,000 were received by the fund for the third quarter of 2009. Taking into account lump sum payments of the members, accumulated funds in ADIF already amounted to AZN 16.316 million.

“Out of AZN 1.984 bn of individuals’ deposits, attracted by bank members, deposits in the amount of AZN   1.378 were insured and deposits to the sum of AZN 606.181 million should not be insured,” it was informed.

Funds of 4,970.119 ths depositors were insured and number of which exceeds the number of economically active population of the country (4.329 million persons).
