OREANDA-NEWS. November 03, 2009. Annual interest on a bank account balance applicable to the programme Profitable Interest, intended for private clients, changes. Depending on the average monthly bank account balance, 5.5 percent in annual interest will be paid on funds in litas, up to 2.5 percent on funds in euro, and 0.75 percent on funds in US dollars, reported the press-centre of Ukio Bankas.

From 1 November of this year, interest on the savings account of private clients also changes. Depending on the balance of the savings account, up to 3.5 percent in annual interest will be paid on funds in litas, up to 0.5 percent on funds in euro and pounds sterling, and 0.25 percent on funds in US dollars.
