OREANDA-NEWS. November 02, 2009. IV Specialized Commodity Exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran has opened in Ashgabat has opened at the Exhibition Centre in Ashgabat today. The exhibition is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and Mashad International Exhibition Company. The Iranian delegation including over 120 companies and firms arrived to Ashgabat to take part in the forum.

The history of trade and economic relations between two neighbouring countries is rooted in ancient times and exemplifies mutually beneficial partnership in the new historical epoch. This fruitful dialogue has been offered a powerful incentive to develop during the visits of the leaders of Turkmenistan and Iran to Tehran and Ashgabat and the constructive top-level talks.

The regular Iranian exposition showcases that Turkmenistan and Iran are invariably committed to the ties of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation that is developed in the interests of two fraternal peoples. During three days the representatives of the relevant ministries and business community of our country can learn about with the industrial, economic and investment potential of the Iranian provinces and discuss the ways to expand effective partnership with their Iranian colleagues.

The main sections of the exposition present construction materials, food products, household chemistry, automotive industries, etc. An increased number of the exhibition participants as compared to the previous years vividly illustrate the interest showed by Iranian businessmen, who express the willingness to intensify business contacts in a wide spectrum of fields, in the Turkmen market.

The exposition will close on November 4. The diplomas and international certificates will be awarded to participants during the closing ceremony.
