OREANDA-NEWS. November 02, 2009. All-Russian All-Round Driving Championship among the junior driving schools is organized on the territory of "Lenexpo" exhibition complex. The official opening ceremony has been conducted today, October 30, 2009 at 1.00 pm in the pavilion 6.

The championship is organized by the Federal Education Agency, Road Safety Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affaires, and "Avtograd" (St. Petersburg) junior driving school in the framework of the Federal Road Safety program.

Over 20 Russian regions are participating in the tournament. Over 100 young sportsmen from Astrakhan, Kazan, Krasnodar, Moscow region, Nalchik, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Perm, Stavropol, Saratov, Republic of Tuva, Chelyabinsk Region and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug will take part in the contest.

The program will include the following disciplines: road laws applicable for the Russian Federation, speedy maneuvering and First Aid.

Every teams consists of two drivers, aged 14-17. Like Formula 1 pilots, they will conquer in the individual and team competitions.

Traditionally, speedy maneuvering promises to be the most exciting part of the championship.

Every driving championship brings more competent drivers to the Russian roads and makes our roads safer.

It has been confirmed by practice, that junior drivers are very attentive pedestrians and later they will become very carful and attentive drivers.
