OREANDA-NEWS. November 02, 2009. Petrozavodsk hosts negotiations of the possibility to continue implementation of the Technological Village Russian-Finnish investment project. With this purpose Pekka Huhtaniemi, the Under-Secretary of State for Trade and Politics of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, Chairman of the EuroRussia Forum from the Finnish party takes the Finnish delegation to the capital of Karelia. The delegation also includes Jurki Terva, Consul of the Consulate General of Finland in St.-Petersburg, Mikko Kivikoski, Secretary for Exterbal Relations of the Department for Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, Tapani Koivula, Director General of Luoteis-Venajan Kehitysyhtio Oy and representatives of secretariat of the EuroRussia Forum.

On the part of Russia in the working meeting there participate the Assistant to Plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the Northwest Federal District Evgeny Lukianov, Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Finland Valery Shlyamin, Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Karelia Pavel Chernov, Assistant to the Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Karelia Alexander Kolesov, Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Karelia Mikhail Yurinov.

Program of the teamwork provides a meeting with Petrozavodsk businessmen within the scope of the EuroRussia Forum on November 2 in Karelia hotel, acquaintance to offers on platforms for the Technological Village project implementation in Tomotsy, Ltd., Petrozavodskmash Joint-Stock Company enterprise and Petrozavodsk Business-Park, Ltd. Besides, participants of working meetings will discuss projects of possible mutual cooperation. Experts of the Ministry of Forestry of Karelia, representatives of enterprises of KarelSrtoiMekhanizatsiya Joint-Stock Company, PetroDOK, Ltd., Yagoda Karelii (Berry of Karelia), Ltd., Kivach, Ltd., will take part in the discussion.

During their stay in Karelia the Finnish delegation intends to visit Business-incubator of the republic and Petrozavodsk State University where participants of meetings will get acquainted with work of the IT-Park.
