OREANDA-NEWS. November 02, 2009. A meeting of the Board of Directors of OJSC SOGAZ took place in Moscow in the central office of OJSC Gazprom. The meeting was held by Aleksey Miller, the Chairman of the Management Board of OJSC Gazprom, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OJSC SOGAZ, reported the press-centre of SOGAZ.

Vadim Yanov, the Chairman of the Management Board of SOGAZ, reported on the budget performance results for H1 2009. In particular, he mentioned that OJSC SOGAZ’s proceeds in H1 increased by 6%, i.e. to RUR 23.2 billion, of which RUR 22.8 billion is due to voluntary types of insurance. The total volume of OJSC SOGAZ’s insurance payments in the reporting period grew by 24% and amounted to RUR 8.5 billion.

The members of the Board of Directors took into consideration the budget performance results reported for H1 2009. Additionally, they approved SOGAZ’s participation in the SCO United Business Cooperation Center as one of its founders.
