OREANDA-NEWS. On 30 October 2009, an exhibition will open at the RZD Innovation Development Centre, showcasing new shunting locomotives and open-top wagons for the modern railway infrastructure, reported the press-centre of RZD.

As part of the exhibition, a press conference will be held at 13:30 with Union of Railway Equipment Producers (OPZT) President and RZD Senior Vice President Valentin Gapanovich and the heads of leading machine-building enterprises on the theme: "Innovative products of railway machine-building – for industrial enterprises and owners of rolling stock", during which the signing of contracts for the delivery of new railway equipment is expected.

Over 100 companies and organizations will be taking part in the event, including representatives of the Russian Ministry of Transportation, the State Duma, RZD, OPZT, the Union of Russian Machine Builders, and the heads of leading domestic and international machine-building enterprises: Transmashholding, Sinara Transport Machines, Uralvagonzavod, Caterpillar CIS, and GE Transportation Russia.
