OREANDA-NEWS. October 30, 2009. AB Bank SNORAS changes the time deposit interest rates in Litas, Euros, British pounds sterling and USA dollars, reported the press-centre of Bank SNORAS.

“The decrease of the time deposit interest rates reflects the positive changes and tendencies in the Lithuanian and global financial markets. In its turn, Bank SNORAS will further seek to maintain for its clients some of the most attractive time deposit conditions in the market,” states Zorzas Sarafanovicius, the deputy chairman of AB Bank SNORAS Board, the director of Retail Business Division.

Depending on the currency and the deposit duration, the annual interest rates for the time deposits paid to AB Bank SNORAS clients in Litas will reach from 4.0 up to 9.3 per cent, in Euros and British pounds sterling – from 1.5 up to 4.2 per cent, in USA dollars – from 0.5 up to 2.2 per cent.

The bank’s interest rates paid for the time deposits in Litas will be lower by up to 1.5 per cent. The interest rates of all terms for the deposits in Euros, British pounds sterling and USA dollars will diminish from 0.8 up to 1 per cent.

The bank’s depositors, after prolonging a deposit of at least 1 month’s duration, will receive 0.2 per cent higher interest.

Bank SNORAS clients can conclude or prolong a deposit in any subdivision of Bank SNORAS or by using Bank SNORAS e-banking system “Internet Bank+”.
