OREANDA-NEWS. From 1 November 2009 Estonian Air is the sole fully qualified representative of the EuroBonus loyalty program among the Baltic airlines. The EuroBonus program allows customers to earn points for each Estonian Air scheduled flight and the collected points can be converted into award trips, reported the press-centre of Estonian Air.

For an award trip a customer can exchange collected points for a flight ticket. The only cost for the traveller is airport taxes.

Each month EuroBonus members receive special offers from Estonian Air and its program partners for earning or spending points.

EuroBonus program is one of the most popular private person’s loyalty programs in Scandinavia. As well as Estonian Air, about 40 airlines all over the world are program partners, including the SAS Group and airlines belonging to Star Alliance. The best-known airlines EuroBonus points can be earned with are SAS, Lufthansa, Air Canada, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, US Airways, United Airways and Qantas.

In addition to airlines, eight well-known worldwide hotel chains (Best Western Hotels, Country Inn & Suites, Park Inn Hotels, Radisson Edwardian Hotels, Radisson SAS Hotels, Regent Hotels, Rica Hotels and Scandic Hotels) and the world's three largest car rental companies (Avis, Hertz and Sixt) are EuroBonus program partners. Partners offer their services to EuroBonus card holders with favourable conditions.

If the amount of points earned is not sufficient for air travel or travel services, program members can use their points to buy gifts at the EuroBonus Internet shop www.flysas.com/en/EuroBonus/SAS-EuroBonus-Shop.

A customer starts earning points from the first flight taken after joining EuroBonus. If they have travelled with Estonian Air or a partner airline within six months prior to joining, they can claim points retroactively. To earn points, the client has to insert the number of their EuroBonus card when booking their flight on the Internet, or inform the travel agent when buying the ticket from a travel agency.
