OREANDA-NEWS. October 29, 2009. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the salary in the real terms (including inflation) grew by 9.7%. The monthly salary in the budgetary sector amounted to 2,344.6 leis, increasing as compared to the same period of 2008, by 23,3%, and by 5,9% - up to 2907.1 leis in the real sector of the economy.

In September, the average wage was equal to 2740.3 leis, or 9,9% more than in September of the last year, and by 12,5% in the real terms. The average salary in the real sector has amounted to 2,948.9 leis, increasing by 4,7% as compared with September of the last year. In the public sector the growth of 27,5% - up to 2376.8 leis was registered.

According to NBS, as before, the lowest salary was registered in agricultural sector - 1,371.1 leis, and the highest in banking and financial sectors - 5,629.2 leis.
