OREANDA-NEWS. October 28, 2009. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan does not intend to put up with low level of consumer payments for supplied gas.

SOCAR reports that production association Azeriqaz began inventory of consumer base to reveal gas consumption legality. According to first results, the Baku City Gas Operations Department has already revealed in Yasamal district of Baku seven consumers with gas meters and 37 flats without them which did not pass coding, in Sabunchi district 31 and 76 respectively. As a result, gas supplying for these gas consumers was ceased. It will be resumed after the offenders pay penalties and legalize gas consumption.
