OREANDA-NEWS. October 27, 2009. Awarding of winners of the city review competition tool place on 16 October 2009 at Krasnoyarsk City Administration. As a result of estimation of labor protection at the “Krasnoyarsk CHP-2”, a branch of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)”, it became the winner of the competition among energy industry enterprises, reported the press-centre of TGC-13.

During the competition, more than thirty indicators have been examined. The indicators characterize production, financial and business, human resources, and social activities of every enterprise. Special attention was paid to labor protection. As a result, the Krasnoyarsk CHP-2 was considered the winner among the city energy industry enterprises.

The city review competition was aimed at revelation of organizations and enterprises of Krasnoyarsk city with a high level of operation in the field of social partnership and labor protection, examination and spreading of their practice, reduction of production traumatism and professional illnesses, and increase in the level of technological and production discipline.

Olga Prokhorova, the Senior Supervisor for Labor Protection, tells about measures having been implemented at the Krasnoyarsk CHP-2 in 2008-2009 to allow for achievement of high results: “During last two years, certification of all working places due to working conditions has been completed. According to the certification, additional payment to separate categories of employees were increased, list of individual protective means was added, measures aimed at improvement of lightening and microclimate at working places were worked out. Labor protection works at the station are certified”.

Further, several technological measures resulted in reduction of the number of dangerous production factors in boiling department were introduced and the system of conditioning at the Group panel No.2 was improved. Planned repair of common premises at departments and engineering and common building is being carried out.

The CHP-2 pays attention to the issuers of health protection for its employees. Thus, measures on health protection of personnel working under the conditions of dangerous production factors influence have been worked out and are being implemented according to medical examinations carried out in 2008 and 2009.

Professional skills competitions for operating personnel are carried out regularly at the CHP. They include practice of first aid rendering for injured during the production process. Education at the “Labor protection and safety” course at working places and educational centers has been organized.

According to directors of the Krasnoyarsk CHP-2, high-level indicators are reasoned by support of the trade union organization. A joint Commission for Labor Protection has been established at the CHP. Representatives of the station’s Trade Union Committee actively participate in operation of the Commission.

“Labor protection remains a priority direction in the energy industry. High appraisal of operation of the Krasnoyarsk CHP-2 by the city Administration can prove this fact,” – noticed Olga Prokhorova.
