OREANDA-NEWS. October 26, 2009. The branch of Ingosstrakh IJSC in Astrakhan prevented an attempt of insurance fraud with compulsory motor TPL insurance to the amount of RUB 120k.

An insured person turned to the Claims Settlement Department of the branch and informed about the damage to his HONDA CIVIC 200 in an accident on M6 motorway in Astrakhan region.

In the process it was detected that the damage sustained by the car was inconsistent with the actual accident.  Due to efficient and professional work of the specialists of the Information Collection and Analysis Department, as well as of the Claims Settlement Department of the Astrakhan branch, it was found out that HONDA CIVIC 200 was damaged when it overturned on the road and that there was no contact with any other vehicle. Confronted with the evidence, the owner of HONDA CIVIC 200 signed a waiver of insurance compensation and nullified his notice about the traffic accident.
