OREANDA-NEWS. October 26, 2009. OMK-Steel (OMK’s subsidiary) and Gazprom Neft have signed a strategic partnership agreement for 2009–2011. This document is purported to help Gazprom Neft to holistically modernize and develop its technological base in terms of production, transportation, and processing of hydrocarbon.

In addition, OMK and Gazprom Neft’s strategic partnership includes scientific, engineering, and marketing research aimed at developing new types of pipes; production of pipes with desired technical parameters; and joint monitoring of the technical condition of pipelines operated at Gazprom Neft’s facilities.

It is planned that under the agreement OMK will increase its product shipments to Gazprom Neft by 30%.
