OREANDA-NEWS. October 26, 2009. The project has become international for a year of its activities. Following the results of the previous presentations day IDGC of North-West has transferred equipment for trial operation for the amount exceeding RUR 12 million.

This year the CDP-5 project initiated by IDGC of North-West’s Chief Engineer Georgy Turlov and supported by the company’s Scientific and Engineering Council is one year old. During this period within the limits of a new format of dialogue with suppliers of equipment, componentry, materials, goods and services for electric grid complex, more than 130 companies working in the sphere of the fuel and energy complex have presented their innovative developments to energy specialists. They include Russian and foreign companies, as well as representatives of joint ventures.

Within the limits of the CDP-5 program which will take place on December 8th, heads and experts will not only examine new developments for the energy industry, but also name the best projects and solutions, in opinion of the SEC and Organizing Committee of CDP, presented for the Northwest distribution grid complex within a year.

The fifth anniversary corporate day of presentations of IDGC of North-West will be held in St. Petersburg in the territory of the “Water Universe” unique museum complex in Shpalernaya street. The main topic will be named after the end of acceptance of the applications submitted by companies to be considered by the Organizing Committee till November 1st.

Taking into consideration abundant wishes of CDP participants about expansion of a circle of experts who would take part in discussion of proposed innovative projects, exchange opinions, talk about the problems power specialists face at equipment maintenance within the limits of free discussion with technical heads and experts of IDGC of North-West, the Organizing Committee plans to implement a new status of the participant – the CDP guest.

Thus designers and technologists of enterprises, regional directors and managers of companies with foreign stakes, experts, representatives of scientific sphere and other interested persons may appear in such a capacity under the Company’s suggestion at the IDGC of North-West’s Day of Presentations.

For today more than 30 companies have already submitted their applications for participation in the Universal Day of Presentations.
