OREANDA-NEWS. October 26, 2009. Government of Kirov region gathered in the Administration Hall to discuss advantage of using space technologies on the ground for social and economical evolution of the region.

The meeting, also attended by Roscosmos representative V. Bezborodov, NPK-Recod DG, was aimed at defining further steps on the space technology application program to be signed by Roscosmos and Kirov region.

The region will get the opportunity to maintain independent monitoring for any type of activity, including transport services, land use, navigation, positioning, etc.
