OREANDA-NEWS. October 26, 2009. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, this was due to the decline in production at the mining industry companies- by 32,4%, processing industry enterprises- 26,3% and enterprises of the energy sector - 4,5%.

Reduction in volume of the industrial output was due to the decline in production at the enterprises producing non-metallic mineral products - by 42% , clothes -14,6%, wine - 29%, production, processing and preserving of meat and meat products - 21 7%, processing and canning of fruits and vegetables - 40,2%, production of rubber and plastic products - 35,2%, distilled alcohol beverages - 30.5%, footwear - 52.5%, furniture - 24,3%, paper and paperboard - 38.5%, machinery and equipment - 45,9%.

At the same time, in January-September 2009, the volumes of output in companies producing ready-made animal fodder have increased by 1,7 times, poultry-1,6 times, other plastic products- 28,7%, machinery and electrical equipment-12,5%, pasta- 4,4%, tobacco- 2,6%, etc. In September 2009, as compared to the same period of 2008, the industrial output fell by 22,5%.
