OREANDA-NEWS. October 22, 2009. “Sun InBev” informs that the premium brand of the company - Sibirskaya Korona - became the owner of the national award "Brand № 1 in Russia", reported the press-centre of Sun InBev.

The award "Brand №1 in Russia/National Brand" is handed over since 1998 and represents the most significant award in the field of brands building of on the Russian market. It is awarded on the basis of buyers opinion about the trade mark across the nation. In 2009 year 318 000 persons have taken part in voting in popular periodicals of the country and Internet resources from 21st of September till 4th of October, 2009. Following the results of voting the trade mark Sibirskaya Korona has been named the owner of the award in a category "beer". The final stage of the National award will bу rewarding which will take place in the State Kremlin Palace on December, 11th.

Sibirskaya Korona became the winner of the National award "Brand №1 in Russia/National Brand" already in the second time. The first time a brand has been recognised the best in a beer category in 2007.

Sibirskaya Korona - is one of the largest brands of the beer market in Russia. Started in manufacture on Omsk brewery "Росар" as the local brand, in the current days Sibirskaya Korona has become to a strong national brand which is on sale not only in all territory of the Russian Federation, but also is far behind its limits.
