OREANDA-NEWS. October 22, 2009. IC ROSNO paid under MOD insurance contracts an aggregate insurance compensation of 4,840 thousand roubles for two insured accidents, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The Audi Q7 got in a traffic accident on Kahovka Street in the south-western section of Moscow. The insurant violated the rules prescribing proper vehicle location on the road, causing collision with a Peugeot 308, which, in its turn, struck a Mercedes Benz. As a result, the Audi sustained significant mechanical damage leading to the vehicle’s constructive loss. The vehicle had been purchased by the insurant on loan; therefore, ROSNO paid the insurance compensation in the amount of 2,784,044 roubles to the lending bank in its status of insured beneficiary.

The TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 200, owned by a legal entity, was stolen in the night from an enclosed area of the gardening cooperative in Podolsky District, the Moscow Region. The malefactors entered the area after having sawn away the gate lock. Though the vehicle was equipped with the satellite search system, the subsequent search was of no avail. The vehicle had been insured with ROSNO in Moscow against theft, damage and fire. The insurance compensation equalled 2,056,919 roubles.
