OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2009. Director General of LLC “Gazprom Neft Shelf”, Alexander Mandel visited Sevmash. Main target of his visit was estimation of work performance at ORFP “Prirazlomnaya”, detection of “tight” spot and discussion of further order financing plan.

Accompanied by Director General of the enterprise, Nikolay Kalistratov and Deputy Director on manufacturing marine facilities for oil and gas production, Valery Borodin, General Customer inspected the platform. Then the meeting was held, on its notice four issues were raised, in particular, continuation of construction works at order, creation commissioning systems for drilling facilities and electrical equipment, the plan of further order financing was considered.

Each such meeting is held for the purpose of solving urgent problems associated with platform construction progress, - Alexander Yakovlevich said estimating done work. – Now we have delay from general work schedule approved by the management of Gazprom. Our target is to outline and implement those activities, which allow maximum reducing delay and preparing to the next year”. Solving this problem requires performance of large package of works, which will be executed in parallel with construction of superstructure. General Customer notes that now Sevmash is being trained in erection of superstructure for unique platform of oil and gas production in Arctic conditions. That experience, which is obtained by the enterprise, is very essential and can be used in future. But today in order to completely implement a project, mobilizing all efforts is required.
