OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2009. The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) is prepared to extend financing of private sector in Azerbaijan.

President of BSTDB Hayrettin Kaplan informs that at present large part of operations of BSTDB in Azerbaijan fall on the bank sector.

“We plan to expand our presence in real sector of Azerbaijani economics.  We hold meetings with various firms in the production sphere and power industry concerning granting of financing,” H. Kaplan said.

According to him, BSTDB, in particular, will continue cooperating with the banks.

Presently, the bank works with 8 banks in Azerbaijan and current credit portfolio of the bank in the country makes up approximately USD 60 million.
