Russia Blacklists 22 Lithuanian Transport Companies
OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2009. Presently, Russia has included 22 Lithuanian transport companies into a black list. The list will be reviewed again, says Vladimir Malinin, deputy head of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation.
Malinin noted that the Federal Customs Service of Russia favorably viewed the actions of the Lithuanian customs aimed at solving the problems of cargo transportation under the International Road Transit (TIR) procedure.
The official indicated his opinion at a news conference held at the Customs Department on Tuesday. Malinin also said that a compromise was reached over the recovery of debts of Lithuanian transport companies.
