The head of “Moldovagaz "reminded that in accordance with the terms of the long-term contract of the gas supply to Moldova in 2007-2011, the gas price is established on a quarterly basis and is determined by the agreed formula, taking into account the decreasing factor for the country (0.8 in 2008), as well as index of changes in prices for petroleum products at the world market (gasoline and black oil).

As it was informed before, according to ANRE, in I quarter of 2009, the purchasing price for the Russian natural gas for Moldova amounted to US332.59 per 1 thousand cubic meters, in II quarter 2009 - USD 249.44, and in III quarter of 2009-USD 182.26, respectively.
