OREANDA-NEWS. October 20, 2009. OJSC "Concern Khlibprom" participated in the seminar "Use in practice of the decree № 468 of the Ministry of Ukraine. Laboratory control of GMO" took place in Kyiv. The scenario of the seminar included the reports of the representatives of the Ukrmetrteststandard, the Department of Consumer Protection and the Institute of Ecological Hygiene.

In accordance with the matter of the seminar the practical works on the subject of the bound marking of GMO, legislative control, practicalities of the use of decree № 468 and DSTU 4518:2008 standard have been carried out till September 22, 2009.

In accordance with the decree the manufacturers have to control the presence of GMO in raw materials and in final products. For this purpose "Concern Khlibprom" works out the procedure of the products control and ensures the information about the absence of GMO in products of own manufacturing during 5 years.
