OREANDA-NEWS. October 20, 2009. In Baku Epson Europe B.V representative office has arranged seminar for dealer companies and sales personnel. At the seminar main Epson equipment and newly launched products were presented. Seminar was held under support of Epson exclusive distributor in Azerbaijan – AZEL (Azerbaijan Electronics) Company.

As it was noted at the seminar Epson keeps the leading position in projectors segment for about 8 years and has market share 22% in Russia and 31% in the Ukraine (according to DTC research). Epson offers wide range of models (about 50 models only projectors for business) and use all components of its own invention (lamps, LCD-panels, lens, polarizer etc). All Epson projectors are based on 3LCD technology.

Epson scanners are very popular in the world. Company takes 1st place at the market with market share 36% (in money equivalent). Epson scanners are based on CCD-technologies that meet the requirements of even more exacting customers. At the seminar was presented the newly launched scanner models Epson Perfection V600 Photo and Epson Perfection 500 Office and photo printers PictureMate PM 280 and Epson PictureMate PM260.  Epson photo printers have a high quality of printing and low prime cost of printing copy. One photo printed by Epson Picture Mate cost around 20 qapik (10*15 sm size).

During the meeting Epson Company’s representatives presented main products and solutions offered by Epson for different market’s segments. Special attention was focused on the perspective products such as color laser printers, multimedia projectors, multifunctional devices and ink jet printers. Also, seminar participants were informed about advantages of special technology for printing devices - Micro Piezo.

Today Epson has the widest range of periphery having in product line - projectors, matrix, ink jet and laser printers, scanners, disk producers etc. Senior Product Manager Artem Titov has made presentation about laser printers and scanners.
