OREANDA-NEWS. October 20, 2009. According to preliminary data JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” transferred 840 mln rubles as tax payments within 9 months of 2009 which is by 7 % more than  in the same period of the last year.

308 mln rub. were transferred to the local budget which is by 12% more than the same figures of 2008; 532  mln rub. (+4%). were transferred to the federal budget. The increase of the tax payments was caused by the increase of the earnings of the company due to the change in the structure of turnover (more cargoes with the higher handling rates) and increase of the salaries of the personnel.

During the  three quarters  of 2009 the  average salary of the workers of the group of companies JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” grew by 16% in comparison with the same period of 2008 and amounted to 36 000 rub. In particular, salary of dockers now amounts to 41 000 rub.
