Sibirtelecom Starts Up New Communication Services
OREANDA-NEWS. October 19, 2009. Sibirtelecom provides new services of intelligent communication network: “Universal Access Number” and “Surcharged Сall” over the whole territory of the Siberian Federal District.
“Free call” and “Televoting” services are well known among the people and organizations of the Siberian Federal District, they have been provided by Sibirtelecom since 2008 based on the intelligent platform. First of all, now the Company brings new corporate oriented services to the market.
Using the “Universal Access Number” service, the customers can unite a group of phone numbers from different regional offices by a common universal number and to organize a common customer service. The “Surcharged Call” service will allow customers to provide payment services, such as information, reference-consulting, and entertainment services, as well as if they have a service prepayment card. This service makes it possible to provide different paid references, news, stock exchange bulletins, to accept announcements and different orders, to provide entertainment services (dating services, leisure time activities for adults, tales for children, etc.). A customer can render these services to Sibirtelecom subscribers over the whole territory of the Siberian Federal District.

The potential users of new services will mainly include large and average corporate clients: companies with branched regional networks, banks, autodealers, trading holdings, and municipal services. The “Surcharged Call” service will draw attention of companies that provide consulting, legal, medical, psychological, and economical paid services over the phone.
