OREANDA-NEWS. October 19, 2009. British-Russian technical workshop “North Sea Offshore Technologies” was held in Gazprom VNIIGAZ LLC on 13 October 2009.

The workshop was devoted to technological requirements and tasks that Russian companies face with during development of the Arctic offshore fields. Our British colleagues shared their experience in development of fields of the North Sea as well as in rendering services on safe, efficient and cost-effective development of the offshore fields of the Great Britain.

The workshop was attended by experts from Gazprom dobycha shelf, Gazprom VNIIGAZ, Giprospetzgaz, StatoilHydro, Shtokman development AG and University of Strathclyde.

 The workshop was organized by Gazprom VNIIGAZ, Scottish Development International and UKTI, SubseaUK.
