OREANDA-NEWS. October 19, 2009. Renault, Nissan and AvtoVAZ are set to manufacture in Togliatti five models on the global Renault/Nissan platform – two Renaults, two Ladas and one Nissan, the Russian car maker’s representative said quoting the company’s VP for Strategy Grigory Khvorostyanov.

Investments of the shareholders in this project are preliminarily estimated at €240 mn (over RUB 10 bn). In addition, AvtoVAZ will pay 25% of investments. Another 25% is to be paid by Nissan and half by Renault, Khvorostyanov said.
