October 16, 2009. “AeroSvit-Ukrainian Airlines” has optimized its winter schedule, expanded its operational geography by signing deals with new code share partners and cut the least yielding seasonal routes. This will enable AeroSvit, under current economic climate, to raise its revenues and decrease the effect on its operations of a winter “low season”, reported the press-centre of AeroSvit.

AeroSvit is finalizing its code share deals with Air Baltic, Aeroflot. It is expected that these partnerships will enable AeroSvit to expand its operational geography to the routes of partner companies on a number of destinations in Europe, and . As previously reported, in September, AeroSvit signed a similar agreement with Air which is expected to increase passenger flows between and by 30%.

During the winter season which lasts with airlines from the end of October to the end of March, AeroSvit has increased frequency of its flights to Bangkok, Dubai and Warsaw.

AeroSvit has reduced the frequency of operation to Tbilisi (). On destination Stockholm (), AeroSvit will be the marketing carrier this winter whereas Air Baltic will be the operating carrier.

During its winter schedule, AeroSvit will not conduct operations to Almaty Hamburg, Delhi, Cairo and Toronto.

In 2009, AeroSvit conducts operations to over 60 destinations in 34 countries.
