OREANDA-NEWS. October 16, 2009. In pursuing its client oriented policy VAB Bank has been looking to assure maximum level of comfort for its customers holding plastic cards, reported the press-centre of VAB Bank.

Among other efforts in this area the Bank has been aggressively expanding its network of POS terminals. In the period between August and September alone, the Bank closed over 30 new agreements for installation of POS terminals with retail operators and service providers in 12 regions of Ukraine.  Now the total number of acquiring contracts the Bank currently has nears 280.

Head of VAB Card Business Products and Sales Channels Department Ms Elena Soboleva-Tereshchenko commented, “Our Bank’s chain of POS terminals grows continuously.  VAB POS terminals are now available in all Ukrainian oblasts.  They offer holders of Visa and MasterCard payment cards a chance to make a purchase or order a service commission-free, without cashing their plastic.”

Importantly, holders Visa/Visa Electron cards issued by VAB Bank may participate in the programme “Take Your Visa/Visa Electron Card to FIFA 2010 World Football Championship!” where they will be offered a number of prizes.  To participate requires payment no less than UAH 100 for a purchase or a service via a POS terminal using a Visa/Visa Electron card.
