OREANDA-NEWS. October 15, 2009. Svyazinvest announces an executive appointment.  Mikhail A. Leschenko has been appointed to the position of deputy general director of the holding.

In his new position, Mr. Leschenko will be in charge of issues related to the reorganization of the Svyazinvest Group of companies and the Group’s M&A policy.

Mikhail Leschenko was born on March 20, 1975 in Naberezhny Chelny.

In 1997 he graduated from the Saint Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance.

From 2000-2002 he worked as vice president of Gamma Group.

From 2002-2005 he held the position of vice president/director of MDM Bank.

From 2005-2008 he was managing director of investment group Marshall Сapital Partners.

Earlier he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and AIG Brunswick Capital Management.

In summer 2008 he was appointed as advisor to the RF Ministry of Telecommunications and IT.
