OREANDA-NEWS. October 15, 2009. The PROTEK Group of companies, the largest Russian pharmaceutical holding company, announces unaudited consolidated financial results of its operations for the first six months of 2009, prepared under the IFRS standards.

Main financial indicators of the Group and business segments:

- Consolidated receipts of the PROTEK Group of companies for the first six months of 2009 amounted to 41.37 billion roubles - a 20% increase against the first six months of 2008.

- Receipts in the “Distribution and service” segment (the key company is CJSC Implementation Centre PROTEK) amounted to 36.91 billion roubles – a 23% increase against the first six months of 2008.

- Receipts in the “Retail” segment (the key company is the pharmacy chain Rigla) amounted to 5.6 billion roubles – a 14% increase against the first six months of 2008. - Receipts in the “Production” segment (the key company is ZAO PharmFirma Sotex) amounted to 1.63 billion roubles – a 12% increase against the first six months of 2008.
