Vladivostok Air Will Offer New Flights to Moscow and St.-Petersburg
OREANDA-NEWS. October 14, 2009. Vladivostok Air has held yet another fourth presentation of its plans. This time new flights of the company from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky became an object of air regard in a season Winter 2009–2010. Traditionally, tour operators and air ticket agencies, journalists of regional and federal mass-media attended at the action.
In the course of constructive dialogue the parties have exchanged opinions about current situation at the air service market and tourism in Kamchatka, have discussed "air" outlooks for inhabitants of this region in a winter season.
For today Vladivostok Air carries out regular flights to Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Yekaterinburg, and Krasnodar from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
Competently considered policy of the company on air transportation development in the Kamchatsky krai allows to increase quantity of the transported passengers every year. In such a way 39653 passengers were transported by the company flights from/in the airport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky for 9 months 2008, at that time 78577 passengers were carried for the same period of 2009. Thus the company manages to offer competitive fares the passengers, for example, on a route Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky — Ekaterinburg for 9570 roubles (without charges).
Expanding the route network, starting from October 27th Vladivostok Air will offer inhabitants of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky new flights to Moscow and St.-Petersburg (via Khabarovsk) which will be carried out twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and back — on Tuesdays and Fridays. On Saturdays this flight goes further to Sochi.
Besides, since October 25th Vladivostok Air will connect Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Novosibirsk (via Khabarovsk) every Thursday. Also on Sundays it is possible to depart to Krasnodar, with intermediate stop in Khabarovsk and Novosibirsk from Petropavlovsk, and on Wednesdays and Saturdays to Krasnodar — via Khabarovsk and Ekaterinburg.
Also at present time the preparation on forming of route network which will allow inhabitants of the Kamchatsky krai to depart to the cities of the CIS (Baku, Yerevan, Dushanbe) comes to the end.
The airline has introduced new systems of the combined flights and one-time baggage check-in for passenger convenience on these routes. Thus, the passenger gets a ticket during the whole trip, expects at the intermediate airport minimum time, and one-time baggage check-in acquits of necessity to re-register it each time.
For example, taking off from the Elizovo airport (Kamchatka) to Vnukovo (Moscow) or Sochi, you hand over baggage at airport of departure and receive it at final destination airport. And low fares offered by the company will be pleasant addition to travel. So, on the airline site www.vladivostokavia.ru a ticket to Moscow is from 7000 roubles, to St.-Petersburg is from 11000 roubles, to Sochi is from 11850 roubles (there and back, without charges).
The company charter program also is rather extensive. It is planned air flights from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to Seoul (Republic Korea), Manila (Philippines), Utapao (Thailand) and Sanya (China). Having taken advantage of these flights, inhabitants of Kamchatsky krai can strengthen health at Sanya resorts, take pleasure in exotic beauty of Manila or simply to revel in a Thai beach at the height of the severe Kamchatka winter.
Constantly raising service level, Vladivostok Air offers passengers free service of special food order onboard, which is included into air ticket cost. At the airport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky customers can offer following kinds of special food: infantile (till 2 years old), children's (from 2 till 12 years old), diabetic, low-calorie, Muslim, low-cholesterol/fat and food from sea products. All company flights from Kamchatka follow via the airports of Khabarovsk and Vladivostok, and then fly further on various routes. It is necessary to notice that on the Khabarovsk — Moscow direction flights will be carried out by new in the airline's park comfortable wide-bodied aircraft A330-300 Airbus equipped with 327 passenger armchairs: 24 — business class seats and 303 — economy class seats. This qualitatively new offer in the Russian market of air transportations gives to passengers the highest standards of service and comfort. There are no aircrafts of such modification at other airlines of Russia and the CIS.
It has low noise level during the flight, wide distance between armchairs, 2 large central aisles, improved air conditioning, diffused light, system of videos-audio entertainments.
All these advantages of А330 create special comfort and advantageously differ from other types of aircrafts. In the near future the business class of this aircraft will be equipped with individual portable videoplayers and exclusive library of classics.
The airline plans further continuation of renewal and expansion of the park with aircrafts of Airbus type: A330 and A320 by two of each model, during autumn 2009 — spring 2010.
