OREANDA-NEWS. October 14, 2009. Roscosmos Head Anatoly Perminov told journalists in Beijing that Russia and China plan to develop communication system for the countries of Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Space cooperation bilateral agreement up to 2012 is to be signed by Russia and China during the 14th meeting of the Heads of the Governments, Perminov said.
Roscosmos Head also stated that the program implies interaction on ground radiolocation equipment for GLONASS and future Beidoy system. In addition, the parties intend to cooperate on usage of the remote sensing data.
