OREANDA-NEWS. October 14, 2009. Chisinau General Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca said at the operative sitting that as a result of the reforms realized by the city administration in the field of public transport, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said it intended to initiate new projects in the municipality.

The EBRD may provide the 10 million euros loan and the 3 million euros grant. The money will be used to purchase 90 new trolleybuses and to reconstruct one of Chisinau’s trolleybus depots.
