The winners were selected among Russian and foreign participants who presented 518 papers on 17 nanotechnology and nanoindustry topics. These included 505 reports by Russian contestants from 58 Russian cities and towns and 13 reports by foreign participants from 9 countries of the world (
The studies presented addressed such topics as nanodiagnostics, nanoelectronics, nanophotonics, photovoltaics, nanoelectromechanical systems, nanobiotechnology, nanomaterials, self-assembly and self-organization processes in nanomaterials construction, chemical technology of nanomaterials, biological molecular machines, nanotechnology in power engineering and medicine, mathematic simulation in nanotechnology, etc.
