OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2009. JSC VTB Bank Supervisory Council elected Herbert Moos Deputy Chairman of JSC VTB Bank Management Board. Mr. Moos` appointment is subject to approval by the Central Bank of Russia, reported the press-centre of VTB Bank.

As Head of the Financial Department, Herbert Moos will have responsibility for of VTB Bank financial policy, asset and liability management, capital market operations, investor relations, and financial reporting.

Andrei Kostin, VTB Bank President and Chairman of the Management Board said, " We believe that Herbert Moos, brings to the Board unparalleled experience in international capital markets and in running complex businesses which will be invaluable in these challenging times".

Herbert Moos was born on 14 June 1972. He graduated from Kiev State University with honors, specializing in Finance and Economics, and later graduated from London Business School as Master of Finance. In 2008, Herbert Moos joined VTB Group as CEO of VTB Capital plc. after 14 years of employment at Lehman Brothers at different positions, including as Asia-Pacific CFO and Treasurer.
