OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2009. Alfa-Bank confirmed its participation in the restructuring of the GAZ Group debts, reported the press-centre of Alfa-Bank.

— We are satisfied with the conditions of the arrangements with the GAZ Group and other participants of the syndication, making it possible for Alfa-Bank to join the restructuring of the GAZ Group debt, and sign the related agreement.

In view of a high social significance of the GAZ Group, Alfa-Bank did not consider its bankruptcy. We hope that the automaker will be able to overcome its financial difficulties and reach the performance targets announced by the Group, — said Vladimir Tatarchuk, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board at Alfa-Bank.
