OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2009. The WB director for Moldova said it during the meeting with Moldovan Prime Minister Vladimir Filat, according to the Government’s press service.

The parties discussed the support provided by the World Bank to Moldova to overcome the economic crisis, the government’s economic priorities and the IMF Mission’s forthcoming visit to Moldova to take place on October 14-28.

It was said the common sitting with participation of the Moldovan Government, IMF Mission, WB, international donors, representatives of Embassies accredits in Chisinau would take place on October 19. The IMF Mission will arrive in Chisinau with a new head accompanied by Johan Mathisen as an assistant. Vladimir Filat said the meeting of October 19 would be an important exam for Moldova adding that the government will come out not only with declarations but also with concrete actions.
