OREANDA-NEWS On 09 October was announced, that Shtokman project and Yamal will lead Russia in leaders on manufacturing liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

"Gazprom" can become the key player in the world market of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), having constructed factories on its manufacture on the Shtokman deposit, Yamal and in the Far East, the vice-president of board of the company Alexander Medvedev considers.

Addressing to conferences "Oil and gas of Sakhalin — 2009", he has mentioned "Gazprom" plans on SPG-FACTORY building on Yamal where there is a development of the Bovanenkovsky deposit, and also around Vladivostok, the "Sheet" newspaper referring to Prime-TASS news agency writes. Besides, within the limits of the Shtokman project "Gazprom" with partners will build SPG-FACTORY in Murmansk area.

On XXIV World gas congress in Buenos Aires the chairman of board "Gazprom" Alexey Miller also has noted special focus of the company on SPG. As he said, by 2020 in Russia it is planned to make on 90 million t SPG in annually, that will make to 25 % of global market SPG, is spoken in the press release.
