Almaz to Flout out Nevskaya Zastava Ice-Class Towing Boat
OREANDA-NEWS. October 9, 2009. Shipbuilding Company Almaz OJSC (Saint-Petersburg) will flout out an ice-class towing boat Nevskaya Zastava of 2805 design. As PortNews IAA learnt from the company, the ceremony is preliminary planned for October13, 2009, 3 p.m.
The boat has the following characteristics: overall length – 41 m, breadth molded – 11.6 m, hull height – 5.2 m. The towing boat was built upon the order of the City Committee for Nature Use. The boat will be basically used in liquidation of oil spillage in Saint-Petersburg water area.
Shipbuilding Company Almaz OJSC is located in the center of saint-Petersburg, not far from the Gulf of Finland. The company is occupied in building of high-speed vessels, multipurpose air-bag vessels, and civil-purpose boats.
