OREANDA-NEWS. October 9, 2009. Active and creative youth will soon have a possibility to reveal its talents once again. On 5th and 6th of November the XXXVI international scientific and technical conference will take place at "Zaporizhstal JSC".

Both Zaporizhstal employees and representatives of metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine and the CIS countries will take part in the conference, as well as students of Metallurgical Institutes of Higher Education.

The reports of the participants will be distributed among 13 workshops: sinter and blast furnace production, steelmaking, rolling, mechanics and CAD systems, energy, automation, computer technology and information technologies, transport, economics and finance, human resources management, the preservation of environment and radiation safety, industrial labour protection, integrated quality management system. As usual, the leaders of the structural subdivisions of the Works and the leading specialists will head the workshops.

Each participant of the conference will have the opportunity to demonstrate the results of his research. The offices, where the workshops will start working, will be equipped with computers, printers and projectors.

Furthermore, the guests of the conference will have a chance to have an excursion at the works in order to get acquainted with working peculiarities of one of the largest metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine.

Winners and the prizetakers of the conference will receive encouraging bonuses. A special committee headed by the first deputy chairman of the board - technical director A. Yu. Putnoki, and also a working group under the leadership of the head of the youth department of the Works A.N. Pshenichniy, is taking care of the conference organization.

The conference is conducted to activate youth scientific and technical creativity at the Works and reveal the most promising works of young specialists, to exchange experience between the workers of metallurgical enterprises and the students of higher educational institutions. Although it is no secret that the greatest award for the participants of the conference is when their research is put in life and be of benefit to their native enterprise.
