OREANDA-NEWS. October 09, 2009. The Government removed the stamp of secrecy from the decree which had been ilegally passed by the Communist Government stipulating provision of 9,000 tones of wheat to two private economic agents: Franzeluta JSC and Belti bread-baking factory in 2008.

The State Minister Victor Bodiu announced that Prime Minister had already ordered that wheat be returned gratuitously to the state reserve. According to Bodiu, this decree can’t have a secret character as it is connected with the loyal market competiion and this type of information can’t be a secret one. „This wheat is the state’s ownership which can’t be presented or given free of charge to an economic agent”, Bodiu said.

He specified that Franzeluta was the enterprise with the state capital with 56 percent of shares belonging to the state, the economic agent covered by the economic legislation. „There are over 100 economic agents practicing the same kind of activity as Franzeluta does. Why does only Franzeluta receive this wheat?”, Victor Bodiu said. Answering the question whether people quilty of passing of the decision regarding the distribution of wheat from the state reserve will be brought to responsiblity, the State Minister answered that it would be established by the law-enforcement bodies. The State Minister specified that other non-transparent decisions would also be announced.
