Eurasian Development Bank Assigned Members from Tajikistan
OREANDA-NEWS. October 08, 2009. Eurasian Development Bank, bonds of which are present in the official list of the Special Trading Floor of the Regional Financial Center of Almaty, provided to Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) the following press release, reported the press-centre of KASE:
Tajikistan assigned the Minister of Finance Safarali Najmiddinov as an authorized representative in the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) Council and First Deputy of Chairman of Government Investments Committee Abdugafor Rakhmonov as his deputy. In compliance with EDB charter after the official notice of the bank they became the Council members.
To the present moment the EDB Council included - from Russia, Kazakhstan and Armenia:
- Viktor Khristenko, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation;
- Dmitryi Pankin, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation;
- Bolat Zhamishev, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Asset Isekeshev, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Armen Movsisyan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Armenia;
- Iosif Isayan, Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Armenia.
In June of this year Tajikistan completed all necessary procedures related to the entry of EDB and became the fourth participating bank.
