OREANDA-NEWS. The VII International Conference "Transport Service Market: Cooperation and Partnership" is to be held on 22-23 October 2009 at the President-Hotel in Moscow, reported the press-centre of Russian Railways.

The most topical issues affecting today’s rail industry will be under discussion during the two day conference: the creation of the JSC Freight Two, self-regulation in rail traffic and transport in the economic downturn, as well as key aspects of tariff policy, transport law, container transport and investment in rail engineering.

The conference will bring together representatives from Russia’s government, ministries, federal agencies and departments with responsibility for conditions in the transport industry; deputies from Russia’s State Duma and Federation Council involved in formulating transport policy; senior management of Russian Railways and managers of branches, departments and subsidiaries; representatives of transport ministries in the CIS, Baltic States, Europe and Asia, as well as managers of transport companies from these countries; representatives of public sector transportation organisations; managers of transportation and logistics services (departments) of cargo owners; managers of logistics, operating and stevedoring companies and heads of major financial, insurance, leasing companies.
