ROSTELECOM Features Prominently at ITU Telecom World 2009
OREANDA-NEWS On 06 October was announced, that Rostelecom, Russian national telecommunications operator, a member of Svyazinvest group of companies, participates in the exhibition and forum "ITU TELECOM World 2009" taking place in Geneva (Switzerland) from 5 to 9 October 2009.
During the exhibition Rostelecom’s CEO Anton Kolpakov has made a presentation dwelling at various aspects of Rostelecom international activities.

World's largest show of telecom technologies ITU TELECOM WORLD 2009 is arranged by International Telecommunication Union. The event displays latest advances of world telecom operators, service providers, vendors and suppliers of equipment and software.
Rostelecom is an active partner in international cooperation on different levels. As of tоday, the Company participates in 25 international cable systems and cooperates with 600 fixed-line and mobile operators inside and outside of Russia. Rostelecom is a permanent member of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). It sits on the Telecommunication Operators Board of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications (RCC) and belongs to a number of other international industry organizations including the International Cable Protection Committee (ICPC).
