“I have always believed we can reach a serious improvement in January-September and reach the 2008 level,” Sidorsky said.

He admitted that there were serious drawbacks throughout the year, and the worst results were shown in August. “We have to resort to additional measures to reach the targets,” the premier said.

He said a key problem revealed by the global crisis was the inability of the Belarusian economy to pursue efficient management policies and sell its products.
